We welcome you to the web site of the Southeast Conference, UCC one of the “geographically dispersed small membership conferences” of the United Church of Christ.  Many are seeking a church which is Biblically grounded, affirms a Gospel of extravagant hospitality, evangelical courage, and seeks  to walk in the light of peace, justice, and love - we hope to be that Church for you. 

Over the last five years, led by a staff and leaders of extraordinary gifts for ministry, our Conference has doubled in membership, with an emphasis on revitalizing congregations, welcoming congregations which are seeking affiliation with the United Church of Christ and establishing new congregations.  We are in a time when we are seeking out both lay and ordained leadership to serve the emerging United Church of Christ. Working through seminaries, lay theology programs, and in other ways,  we are equipping and training the leaders who are essential to the healthy and faithfulness of our churches.  We are partners in the Still Speaking Initiative, confident that God is not finished God’s redemptive work in the hearts of believers and across the face of creation. 

We trust that this web site will open possibilities for you to strengthen your ministry, the ministry of your congregation, and find partners with whom you can share in this work.
